Summertime is marching right on and here it is the middle of July! We enjoyed our 4th of July long weekend with a fun swimming day at Lakeside with Grancy AND Poppy on Sunday. Yes, even Poppy went with us to the pool and we all enjoyed a picnic dinner afterwards. Emily loves the pool and she asks to "go pool" all the time. We spent Monday in Bowling Green for a cook-out and swim at Nan and Pop's house. The Memommys were in attendance and enjoyed sitting in their rocking chairs on the back porch while watching all of the commotion with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

We are getting busy with preparations for Emily's big 2nd birthday bash! It is only 3 weeks away and sometimes I think the planning is going well and other times I start to get slightly stressed. We will have only immediate family and close friends at the party, but let's face it, our immediate family is getting pretty huge now (Immediate family counting us is now up to 16 people!) Not for sure how our little house will manage all the craziness, but I guess it will be fine for 2 hrs. We may have even more excitement if my sis goes in labor (due Sept. 1st).
